Getting a little Fruity this summer

Summer is the season of vibrant, juicy fruits bursting with flavour and nutrition. Not only do these seasonal gems taste amazing, but they’re also packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and hydration to keep you feeling fresh and energised during the warmer months.

Top Summer Fruits and Their Benefits

  1. Watermelon: Over 90% water, it’s the ultimate hydration hero. It’s also rich in lycopene, which supports skin health and acts as an antioxidant.

  2. Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries): Packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, these help combat oxidative stress and support immune health.

  3. Peaches and Nectarines: Full of fibre, vitamin A, and potassium, they’re perfect for gut and heart health.

  4. Mangoes: Rich in vitamin A and beta-carotene, they promote healthy skin and vision.

  5. Pineapple: Loaded with bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion, and plenty of vitamin C.
